about yoni health clinic

So, who are we? We are a group of experienced health professionals that have a special interest in longevity and preventative medicine. Many of us have spent decades working in the public health and hospital system, where we have cared for many people with chronic illnesses or diseases that could have been prevented. This has lead us to consider how we can help people to prevent these “dis-eased” states.

It's a privilege to age. We are living longer compared to previous generations. But many things have changed in our environment which can the influence our health and the way we live. It’s not just about lifespan, it’s about the quality of life as we age.

So let’s think of our body like a car. We either take our car to the mechanic when it “breaks”, or we take it for regular services to maintain it’s optimal functioning. It’s the same thing when it comes to our health. We often seek medical care when something goes wrong. But what about if we had regular “check-ups” to prevent health issues from arising, and to optimise the longevity of our health span.

What to expect

Here is a break down on what to expect during your Yoni Health Clinic journey:

1st appointment:

Consider this as us getting to know you, and you getting to know your healthcare practitioner.

A thorough health history is obtained by our healthcare team. We delve into what your main health concerns are, and what are the health goals you would like to achieve.

In collaboration with you we’ll discuss what testing may be required to help complete our assessment so we can get an accurate idea of where your baseline health is currently at. We use a “test don’t guess approach” to your health.

2nd appointment:

This appointment is approximately 4-8 weeks later (pending us getting all your test results back) .

We will take time during this appointment to go through your test results with you and discuss what recommendations and treatment options might suit you best moving forward. We may look at nutrition, lifestyle, stress reduction, environmental factors, as well as implementing supplements and medications.

Each treatment plan is individualised and varies from person to person.

3rd appointment:

A follow-up appointment is generally 2-4 months later. During this appointment we will do another clinical assessment to see how you are progressing with any specific treatment options we had previously discussed and implemented.

On-going appointments:

As much as we love you (and hopefully you love us), we know that you don’t want to see us all the time. But longevity and wellness medicine (especially hormones) can sometimes take time to try to achieve an optimal balance.

Sometimes on-going appointments are needed with your practitioner to ensure from and ethical perspective we are maintaining our duty of care to you.
